RELEARNING LEARNING_ Located in a Singapore’s CBD, the OCBC Campus is a 10-storey training campus commissioned by Singaporean bank, OCBC - ranked by Bloomberg as the world’s strongest bank. The campus serves as a regional training hub for OCBC and its multiple subsidiaries including a private bank and a major insurance agency.
Against a tightening workforce scene in Singapore where the government has enacted policies to increase productivity per hire, OCBC has led the way in corporate training and upgrading.

“We are very pleased to have engaged MOD for this milestone project. Their ability to connect with the customer’s vision and needs, and transform them to a brick and mortar space, has been exceptional. Their offering, in terms of design, concepts and ideas, are truly cutting edge.”

Having outgrown their previous facility and fuelled by its desire support pedagogical innovation with more suitable facilities, OCBC commissioned MOD to design its new learning campus with a clear but challenging brief - create spaces that would redefine the classroom, transforming it from a passive teaching space to become an active learning space. After significant research and conversations with key staff to understand their specific needs and analyze similarities and differences across learning methods, we set out to create new spatial typologies for learning - redefining the learning environment for greater relevance and effectiveness.
